Ramadan 1435H from Senai to Madrid

2 Ramadan 1435H - Lunes - Monday

Time to go to Madrid! Bracing myself for the exhaustion ahead...Took AirAsia flight from Senai at about 1005hrs to KLIA2. Only my little bro, Epit and mom sending me off and it was kinda bittersweet.

Mak...nak duit raya!! T_T

You know..2nd Ramadan and I won't be spending the Aidilfitri 1435H with my family this time around. Me? Totally.heart.broken...T_T

Jeham, my other brother waited for me at KLIA2 around midnight with his wife and this cute little baby which I persistently want to call her - Nur..no matter what! There you go...hahhaa.

My flight to Madrid was with Alitalia - code sharing with Etihad at 0325hrs. Wee wee...early morning ~~ arghhh!!

Once I have checked in..the time was already close to 1 am. Pity my bro, he has to work on the next day. May Allah bless him for being there for me. Amin.

I haven't prayed Isya' but the musollah at the departure level 5, KLIA was closed after 1 am.

The immigration officer told me to head for the terminal after immigration as the musollah there is opened 24x7.

Off I went!

After praying....I headed off for my suhoor at Old Malaya Kopitiam for a cup of coffee and toast with kaya and butter for a whopping price of MYR24.15.

Well...well...pejam sebelah mata je la bayar ye?
Hahahha...patience is virtue Zarina..lagi2 Ramadan ni. Sabo je la.

Done with my suhoor.. scanned my boarding pass at about 2.45 am and waited for a while before boarding the Etihad flight.

The whole journey was kinda pleasant but I spent it sleeping like a bear. Had only an orange juice right before the head steward announced the Imsa' time for fasting.

There you go...

All I remember about Rome was that I breezed through the immigration without an inkling of difficulty.

The officer looked at me, stamped the passport and no question asked. Grazie!

Guess what..the officer looked like Gianluca Zambrotta. Nuff said! ^___^

1420hrs - Rome local time

I fast close to 24 hours!

That was nothing I guess...the highlight which took it all was...*drum roll please* my luggage was delayed.

Alitalia will call me within 2-3 working days. Great!! I have nothing to say this time..not even an atom of energy left in my body to give out a fraction of reaction.

I.AM.EXHAUSTED!!!
